Small chest of drawers with black formica top, 1960s

Cool eye-catcher with a special design. The relatively small size means it can be used as a key rack in the hallway. However, the partially hinged shelf in the right-hand compartment also makes it easy to sit at the unit so that it can be used as a make-up table or small desk. The body is made of oak veneer, the legs are solid beech and the top is finished with a matt black formica panel. The chest of drawers has been sanded and given a silk matt lacquer finish.
