Armchair by Arne Vodder for Glostrup, teak with mustard-yellow fabric upholstery, 1950s

Iconic Danish mid-century design by Arne Vodder, featuring distinctive curved lines. This lounge chair combines seating comfort with an elegant, light aesthetic, using high-quality materials. The mustard-yellow fabric upholstery provides a beautiful contrast to the exceptionally dark frame.

This is crafted from solid teak, has been fully sanded and finished with a glossy varnish. The spiral wire loops on the seat have been replaced, whilst the visible loops in the backrest are original. The new foam cushions have been upholstered in a coarse-woven cotton fabric.

The seat height is approximately 40 cm.
