5-bulb cascade lamp, rosewood, chrome and textured glass shades, 1960s

A beautiful ceiling light featuring the characteristic design and combination of materials typical of the mid-century era. A particular highlight here is the use of richly grained rosewood. The textured glass of the lampshades creates a wonderful play of light.

The five arms, made of solid rosewood, are set into the chrome-plated metal ceiling rose in a star-shaped arrangement. The lampshades hang freely from the black, fabric-covered cables. The visual connection is provided by plastic cylinders covered with rosewood veneer. Each arm is fitted with an E27 socket.

The rosewood elements have been sanded down and re-varnished. All the wiring has been replaced and the light has been tested by an electrician. There are a few scratches on the lamp canopy.
