Bowfront chest of drawers made in England in the 19th century. The piece features the curved front typical of this era and a restrained design.

The chest of drawers is made of solid wood, with mahogany veneer on the front surfaces. The drawers are made of oak and feature oval brass fittings and two matching keys.

The piece has been sanded, deliberately preserving the patina, and then sealed with a glossy varnish.
