Set of lounge chair and ottoman by Westnofa, beech and leather, 1970s

Rare set made in Norway consisting of an adjustable leather armchair and footstool. The frames are made of solid beech, the covers are made of genuine leather. A canvas stretched with cord serves as a support for the upholstery (was counter-stitched in one place, see photo). The backrest can be adjusted via the armrests in 4 locking positions.

The leather has been restored, the beech wood sanded, stained in the original colour and given a satin finish.
